ICE agents have killed again--
Once more causing heartbreak and tears--
A hard-working man this time who'd been
Living here for thirty-five years.
Lorenzo Araujo worked hard to send
Three sons to college. A typical theme:
People who toil to help their families
Live what we call the American dream.
As unmarked cars cut him off
While driving, the victim tried to flee.
The agents said he tried to ram them.
In videos that is not what we see.
ICE again is using the same
Old story in order to justify
The killing of an immigrant
Who really didn't have to die.
Araujo had no prior convictions.
There was no need to target the man.
To ICE, of course, he was a villain--
A Hispanic person driving a van.
We hear the agents didn't have
Body cams. Couldn't afford them.
What? With all the billions of dollars
That ICE receives, agents could hoard them!
ICE, stop killing innocent people!
Stop tormenting our immigrant friends!
Stop the driving of unmarked cars!
Tell the truth and make amends!
Everybody, wear your whistle.
For a camera, your phone will suffice.
Record what federal agents are doing.
Abolish the agency. NO MORE ICE!
